Located on the shore of Lake Ontario, our 8,600-acre farm is one of the largest and
most progressive vegetable and grain operations in New York state. German immigrant Otto Kludt settled in the area in the early 1930’s. It is a 4th generation family business. Otto’s sons Harold and Rudy along with their son’s Gary and Mike, and now grandson’s Matt and Andrew continue his American dream. Other family members involved with the farming operation include, Gary’s wife, Linda, daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Russ Levett, Matt’s wife Jill and Mike’s son-in-law, Garrett Baker. They also have 5 full-time employees. At Kludt Brothers, Inc., each family member and their employees bring different skills to the diversified operation. The farms success stems from introducing new technology, updating field practices, and handling most individual production steps themselves.
