Owners Bryan & Larissa DeGraw were living in New Jersey, looking for a change and a way to move to Western NY to be closer to family. With Bryan’s extensive experience homebrewing and making mead, they were thinking about starting a meadery and tasting bar in Western NY.
At 810 Meadworks, we start with honey, and make mead with black currants, pomegranates, cucumbers, coffee beans, ghost chilis, tea leaves, hops, lavender . . . and we’ve just begun to explore the possibilities. If you think you don’t like mead, you probably haven’t found the right one yet! Our meads range from dry to sweet; some are carbonated or used to make amazing cocktails. We also feature our own handcrafted fine chocolates and delicious tasting plates. We are located in downtown Medina in the historic Newell Shirt Factory building along with the Shirt Factory Café, the Hart House Hotel and our own courtyard/concert venue, the Beegarten.
