Ambushed in 2009
The Chamber's Ambassador's Ambush is greeted with smiles!
After a short delay, the Ambassador's Club is back at it again. With just one covert meeting it was decided that
Lisa Trippensee's Apple Blossom florist shop of Medina needed to be ambushed.
So on Tuesday the 11th at around 9:30 AM a group of Chamber members and
reporters joined the Ambassadors in a raid. Armed with balloons, baked goods, a
large "We've been ambushed sign" and smiles they surprised Lisa to say the
least. Really though, it was just a great way for the Chamber to say thank you
to a local business who really goes the extra mile in offering support.
Lisa has continuously given her time and resources to the Chamber, assisting greatly in the "Home and Garden Show," not to mention it was due, in large part, to her decorating that the Chamber won Best Indoor Booth Display at the 2009 Orleans County 4-H Fair. With reporters from both the Daily News and the Journal Register on hand to cover the event, it was a wonderful way to say thank you. So please take notice.. Apple Blossom Florist has been Ambushed!
